 Leaves become smaller and tighter with traffic and forms a dense thatch of stems and leaves impenetrable by weeds once established. It reseeds itself annually, self-perpetuating and improving with age. Grows in sun or part shade and thrives on little moisture. Grows 10 – 30 mm high. Excellent between paving stones and is shallow rooted. Does not perform well under shrubs and trees.
